About Florim, Milan

Barr Gazetas were finalists in this international competition for a Milan ceramics firm who wanted a pop up exhibition space for their products. We have specified over a million ceramic tiles in our projects and we are fascinated about their manufacture. A wet clay ‘cave’ is reached via a series of stepped boxes which concentrate and amplify the small space until you can taste the wet clay.

The journey takes you through back lit panels with audio triggers. Sight, touch, taste, smell and hearing are all stimulated.
