Barr Gazetas was appointed in 2015 to undertake the ‘executive architect’ role in the delivery of the Royal Academy's masterplan project designed by David Chipperfield Architects

About The Royal Academy

The project includes the first ever cast in situ fair faced concrete bridge structure along with careful knitting in of contemporary interventions into the grade II* listed historic building. At completion the building will provide a new lecture theatre, gallery, staff and public learning accommodation in time for the RA's 250th anniversary in 2018.
