Founded in 1993, Barr Gazetas is an award-winning Studio based in London’s West End. The Barr Gazetas team is an impressive mix of over 50 Architects, Interior Designers, Master Planners & Creative Support.

Our award-winning projects span a broad range of sectors including workplace, fit-out, residential, public realm and mixed-use.

To support our team with their wellbeing and personal commitments, we offer flexible start and finish times, working from home one day per week, and five days per year working from anywhere.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Prior experience working in a similar role within the built environment 

- Experience working in digital media 

- A passion for content creation and social media 

- Passion for architecture and the built environment 

Skills & Attributes: 

- Ability to work autonomously with a good level of self-motivation and initiative.  

- Design-focused approach; graphic design prowess essential 

- Enjoys building internal relationships and collaborating

- Good presentation & interpersonal skills. 

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with upper management members as well as external stakeholders. 

- Works to a high level of accuracy and with strong attention to detail 

- Copywriting skills 

- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

- Pro-active, responsive and approachable with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure

IT & Software

- Social media management and content creation for different platforms including reels and carousels

- Social Media Schedulers

- Website content management. Knowledge of Prismic is desirable but not essential

- Adobe InDesign essential, Photoshop, Premier Pro and Illustrator desirable but not essential 

- Microsoft Office 365 essential 

- Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn essential

- Knowledge of Mailchimp and Google Analytics desirable but not essential

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategy:

- Work with the Marketing Manager to coordinate the strategy content for:

- Annual marketing and communication goals

- Social media

- Events, both organised and attended by Barr Gazetas

- Awards entries

Brand Development:

- Keep up to date the Brand Toolkit, alongside templates, marketing collateral and other practice resources 

- Assist the Management Team with their LinkedIn profiles – this includes social media posts, up to date profiles and overall consistency with our brand guidelines 

- Champion brand guidelines ensuring its consistency throughout internal and outgoing communications. 

- Nurture Barr Gazetas' culture through project promotion and internal communications. 

Collateral:

- Create and maintain portfolios for clients 

- Coordinate in progress project photography (In-house), and ensure photography briefings, project data sheets and overall project collateral are up to date and completed before photography 

- Coordinate all project photography with assistance from project architects and Marketing Manager  

- Maintain and update project case studies, pitch case studies and Architects CVs 

- Maintain project data sheets with assistance from architectural teams  

- Day to day management of website 

Press:

- Coordinate PR meetings with external PR agency, and Directors  

- Coordinate company memberships and promote links with industry affiliations

Social Media:

- Plan, create and deliver effective Social Media content plans, considering the channel-specific requirements, organisation objectives, and community members with the support of the Marketing Manager 

- Write, edit and track all organic social media content, working with colleagues to ensure full comms integration and consistent tone of voice in line with our brand 

- Engage with audiences on social media channels ensuring best-practice community management 

- Track and report on the effectiveness of social media content and digital engagement campaigns, as well as optimising for ongoing improvement 

- Content production and publishing 

- Site visits to create content on our evolving projects and interiors   

- Create visually captivating content for different social media platforms 

- Research and report to the Marketing Manager on current trends 

Other Marketing Activities:

- Track awards submissions and maintain awards calendar 

- Track competition opportunities 

- Create and track engaging newsletters 

- Coordinate events (internal and external) with the help of the Marketing Manager and Directors
