About Quadrant Arcade

We have completed the transformation of a Grade II listed arcade on Regent Street into an elegant new retail destination for the West End. Working for The Crown Estate, we have revitalised Regent Street’s only arcade, whilst maintaining its unique historic character, to create an outstanding piece of retail space and public realm.

This Grade II listed retail space had never realised its potential as it was obscured by a Regent Street column. The street facing shop fronts have been redesigned with a continuous glazed curve and a bronze portal that frames a new opening creating a seamless entrance. The Glasshouse Street entrance features a large automatic sash glass screen which lifts up at the touch of a finger and hides behind the renovated metal screen. Contemporary lighting and clear entrances therefore create a welcoming presence so that the space becomes a draw in its own right. The listed interiors are rigorously restored. Low-reflective glass shop fronts provide a perfect display for retailers and the ornately detailed internal elevations have been transformed with focused lighting.

The sustainability led design approach is going to achieve an ‘Excellent’ rating against the BREEAM UK Refurbishment and Fit Out 2014 methodology.
