You might have noticed that we have a new look.  

The past few years have been a time of change for us. Our wonderful founder Alistair Barr stepped away from the business, our team has doubled in size, and we have moved into a fantastic new office space that we designed for ourselves.  

It’s been a real journey getting here. We began talking about succession planning nearly a decade ago. The process of succession poses unique challenges in architecture – and I know from conversations with peers across the sector that we are not alone in feeling them – but I’m really proud of the way that Barr Gazetas has grown through this period of transition.  

This has all been happening behind the scenes for a while, but we felt the time was right to mark this new phase for the practice externally – hence our shiny new brand. We’ve worked closely with Village Green to develop a new look and feel that really capture our values:

We design with integrity, responsibility, and sustainability.

 As we continue to work on fantastic projects across London and beyond, our new brand is a symbol of our established track record, our ambitious future, and our dedication to creating meaningful spaces and experiences for all.
