We’re pleased to share that Barr Gazetas Director Tom Lacey and Architect William Swales have been invited to join NLA's Expert Panels for another exciting year.

Tom returns to the Work Panel, contributing to conversations on how London’s workspaces must evolve, from flexible and hybrid environments to the creative reuse of existing buildings. With his extensive experience reimagining and repurposing workplaces, Tom is passionate about supporting a city that thrives on collaboration, wellbeing and innovation.

This year, Will Swales joins the Conservation & Heritage Panel, where he will help explore the balance between protecting London’s rich architectural history and adapting it for a low-carbon future. With a specialist focus on sustainable retrofit and a strong commitment to education and mentorship, Will is excited to contribute his perspective on retaining culture, character and community value in the buildings we love.
