Recladding and internal fit-out of a prominent 1950s building on Villiers Street, Embankment Gardens with a strong presence and spectacular views of the River Thames and the South Bank.

Our design focused on adaptability and the individuals’ needs in mind, without having to compromise functionality and aesthetics. The layout of each office space has been organised around a central welcome space, moving through a variety of workspaces: open plan desk area, glazed meeting rooms, focus booths, co-working areas, soft breakout space and tea-point.

We have used warm, natural, colourful tones throughout the spaces to improve staff’s mental health and wellbeing. The office spaces also count with adequate storage, shelving and display areas to allow personal configuration.

Sustainability was a key design driver, guiding the choice of environmentally friendly and locally sourced furniture brands, fabric, floor finishes and materials.
