Moving offices for the first time in 30 years was a daunting thought for Lee & Thompson. Our transformation of 4 Gees Court in St Christopher's Place broke down existing client and team barriers, added 30% new space and provided an enhanced client experience.

Law firm Lee & Thompson appointed Barr Gazetas in 2009 to carry out a tenant fit out of their offices in Gees Court in the Westminster area of London. The building owner PRUPIM contributed a sum of money towards landlord works and CAT A and CAT B refurbishment was carried out simultaneously.

11,500ft2 of office space was refurbished to modern standards over five floors within an existing 1950s brick building. This involved renovating the existing entrance area at ground floor creating a clean light lift lobby, new reception area and adaptable meeting rooms on the fourth floor. Three floors of office spaces were provided in between with a variety of cellular and open plan arrangements. The core and WC areas were reconfigured to maximise office space and to comply with current regulations.
