This refurbishment of a prominent 1980s office building in the City of London knitted together existing fragmented public spaces into one cohesive, welcoming design. We improved the arrival experience to Riverscape with a new entrance that integrates a new ground floor informal meeting area, introduced planting inspired by a woodland garden to the rear atrium, and created a winter garden event space on the roof of the building.
Our scheme brought three disconnected areas together with specific zones and functions designed into one united space. We created a new entrance portal and introduced new lighting, signage and high quality finishes throughout with a timeless palette of black metal cladding, timber and brass. Break-out spaces encourage interaction and planters that double as seating in the rear atrium soften the space and bring it to life.
